From 17th to 19th October, Kuppel Basel will celebrate its grand reopening with a mini-festival featuring 12 exciting acts, including dudette, Chlyklass, Goldfinger Brothers, Moonpools, and more. This much-anticipated event promises to be a major highlight for Basel’s music scene.
The Kuppel Basel project, which began in late 2019, features two distinct venues: the iconic dome-shaped “Kuppel” and the adjoining “Volume 3” building. WSDG was responsible for the acoustic design, including room acoustics, electro-acoustics, and isolation acoustics, ensuring top-tier sound quality for live performances and various events. Working closely with partners such as architect Vecsey*Schmidt, construction management firm Anderegg Partner AG, and AV integrator Auviso, WSDG’s expertise in architectural acoustics and media system engineering played a key role in the project’s success.
