Residential Listening Room

Overview

A luxury listening room located in a private residence in Maine.

Program

The WSDG team was tasked with a ground-up build of the listening room and was responsible for the shape and design of the space as well as interior room acoustics.

Design

The listening room was a proving ground for REDIacoustics’ NIRO AI-driven room geometry and position optimization software. Close coordination between the WSDG team and REDI resulted in its unique shape and balanced acoustic properties. The acoustic treatment consists of aesthetically pleasing exposed wood panels with minimal absorption. The resulting sonic character is extremely favorable to listening to music on top of the line high-fidelity systems.
