The MIX FM radio station is one of the leaders in audience in the city of São Paulo and other capitals in Brazil. After 10 years of existence, it is considered to be the strongest reference for the selected young public between 15 and 29 years old.Recently, the radio station moved its facilities to the 22nd floor of a new state-of-the-art building, located in a premium area of São Paulo, from where you can see the entire city in a 360º angle.  In a 10,000 sq. ft. space, the six new studios were built to meet world-class standards for acoustical spaces, and WSDG was hired to provide design and construction of all acoustical areas.
“The acoustical systems of the studios are unique in Brazil, and we hired WSDG specially to create this for us” says Daniel Costa, the manager of Special Projects at the radio station. In order to take advantage of the incredible view of one of the biggest cities in the world, all rooms have large windows that allow one to view every other room in the facility, including the exterior. To achieve this without compromising the internal acoustics of each room, the windows were carefully angled, and in the main on-air studios, large glass difusers where installed.
In a few days, WSDG will host a grand-opening ceremony to celebrate the most modern transmission system in Latin America to happen on the 23rd floor, right below the highest radio transmission tower in the country.
