A serial entrepreneur who has taken on roles ranging from Co-Founder and Commercial Director to General Manager, Gavin for decades has provided inspired leadership to high-performing teams that have consistently met or exceeded expectations.

His story begins in South Africa where he qualified Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch. His practice led him to work in such diverse fields as the South African Defense Force, Cape Town’s AIDS Center and non-profit organizations dealing with child sexual abuse and homeless children.

His travels out of Africa led him to manage a nightclub on the island of Skiathos, Greece for two years; create and manage an airplane expedition out of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for two years; and found & direct two very successful adventure travel companies in the Riviera Maya, Mexico for fifteen years.

Gavin Greenwood currently owns and manages Pescado Adventures, a deep sea fishing charter company, as well as Secret Links, a golf travel package company, both of which are based in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. He also continues to consult to executives of travel businesses regarding commercial strategy, product development and business optimization.

At WSDG his role is that of global Marketing Coordination, including the management of all traditional PR, website and social media, and content creation.

When Gavin is not doing any of the above you can find him on the golf course, on the beach or with his wife.
