Project Description
Overview
Emilio Paravisi is a young musician who had a goal of creating a control room and a live room which could be used together or separated in his house in Quilmes, in the outskirts of the City of Buenos Aires. Great care had to be put into the design, in order to ensure against sound leakage from the studios in consideration of neighbors in this residential setting.
Design
Since the control room and studio are located adjacent to the home’s living room and main bedroom, careful consideration went into the acoustical planning, both in terms of sound containment and isolation. The studios were designed from the remodeling of an existing house. The end result saw the studio becoming acoustically isolated and audibly perfect, with a fresh and contemporary feel, so that Paravisi could develop his passion towards music any time he wants.
