Mathew Watson

Mathew Watson is a Hudson Valley native and received a Bachelor of Architecture 5-year professional degree in 2017 from Alfred State College, a State University of New York accredited school. Post-graduation, his passion for architecture and sustainability led him to work on sustainable projects in Mexico, Ecuador, and Indonesia, focusing on practical and innovative bamboo building solutions for post-disaster responses and community development. After returning to New York, Mathew worked hand in hand with an award-winning residential Architect and sharpened his expertise in 3D modeling, construction documentation, photorealistic rendering, and project management.

In early 2024, his drive to expand and diversify his skills led him to WSDG. Mathew settled in quickly to the WSDG Highland NY team and is a growing asset in creating technical and stunning recording studios, theaters, and acoustically tuned spaces with special attention to detail and building code compliance. He has also taken on the role of integrating AI solutions into architectural workflows, enhancing efficiency and innovation. Currently, Mathew is pursuing licensure and is studying for the Architect Registration Exams.

Outside of WSDG, Mathew enjoys parkour, martial arts, and dancing, and often travels to the UK to visit family.
