Education has been a vital component of WSDG since its inception. As an organization we have been privileged to develop close relationships with many educational institutions around the globe through teaching engagements, guest speaking opportunities, and internships.

As another way to contribute towards a robust learning culture, we have partnered with several institutions to offer scholarships to students in need of financial assistance.

Berklee College of Music is one of the premier music performance and production schools in the world. The Storyk/Molho Family Scholarship supports academically and financially deserving students in their last semesters of study in Berklee’s Music Production and Engineering Program.

Since 1954, The Harlem School of the Arts has been a haven for the youth of Harlem looking to enrich their lives with music, theater, visual arts, and dance. The WSDG Scholarship Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Media Arts recognizes deserving students who have distinguished themselves in these programs.

The scholarship was granted to a student in recognition of their exceptional academic and musical achievements during their Music Production degree at Universidad ICESI, Cali, Colombia, in 2022. The university acknowledged the student’s dedication and talent as a musician, and this scholarship served as a testament to the student’s commitment to the professional standards set by ICESI.

MCCC has been recognized as one of the nation’s most technologically advanced community colleges multiple times over, and has a rich legacy of offering high-quality, affordable education to the community of Montgomery County. The WSDG Excellent Scholarship us awarded to deserving students in need who have demonstrated academic excellence in MCCC’s Sound Recording Technology program.
