Overview
This 7500 sq.ft auditorium is the newly remodeled venue for Newtown High School’s music and drama clubs.
The sound quality of the original auditorium suffered from poor speech intelligibility, frequency response problems, and outdated sound reinforcement systems. A fundraising effort by the citizens of Sandy Hook, coupled with donations from area businesses, resulted in the development of this facility.
WSDG provided design and consultation services in a two phase process to improve the acoustic and electronic systems.
