Overview

A glamorous, 4000 s.f. multi-million dollar high rise residence, this extraordinary home features a sophisticated, WSDG-Miami designed & installed audio video system, integrated lighting control and custom automation/control for each of its four bedrooms, his & hers master baths, great room, kitchen, dining room and three guest bedrooms.   Custom ceiling soffits enhance the entire space, augment room acoustics and compliment the lighting design. iPad  and in-wall Lutron keypads allow the owner to control all systems throughout the residence.

Program and Design

Everything begins the moment the elevator doors open. Upon arrival to the foyer, a presence sensor detects activity at the apartment entrance and automatically activates a welcome lighting scene. The doorbell also functions as an access control/numerical keypad combination, enabling the owners to access the property, and to monitor anyone who enters their home.   A pass code can be engaged in place of traditional key access. Entry can also be generated remotely.

The project includes total systems automation: Crestron control using 3 iPads throughout the house manage the lighting (individual lights or complete lighting scenes), security, HVAC, audio, video and motorized shades. Lighting design, including specific fixture selection was accomplished in conjunction with Jorge Adler (Adler Arquitectos), a renowned architect, specializing in high-end properties in the US and Mexico).

Because all the integration technology is web based, the owner, who travels extensively, has convenient control of room temperatures, motorized shades, and can even provide remote access to the home from within the house or virtually anywhere in the world.
