Felipe Tavera was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1987. A graduate Sound and Acoustics engineer from San Buenaventura University in Bogota, Colombia, he is well versed in: Acoustic measurements, digital signal processing, noise and vibration control, and architectural acoustics. As a young, empiric musician, he has been part of several bands, his passion for music and sound drove him to be as involved as possible in the design of critical listening spaces. After starting a small consulting AV firm in his hometown and working as a noise control engineer by day and Foley artist by night, he joined WSDG in NY as an intern in 2012 and was soon promoted to Project Engineer, where every day he finds new and challenging projects.
