Awards
WSDG has been honored with many, many awards over the course of its 40 year history. The TEC award is one of the professional audio industry's most prestigious awards, presented annually to individuals and firms who have demonstrated excellence and creativity in their respective fields of expertise. WSDG has been nominated for the TEC awards every year since 1990.
WSDG is a multiple winner of Mix Magazine's Technical Excellence + Creativity (TEC) Award in Acoustic Studio/ Facility Design (Years won: 1990 1991 1993 1996 1998 2005, 2012), Europe's Sinus award and multiple awards from the media including Pro AV's Spotlight Award.
Following is a brief overview of some of these awards:
TEC Awards:
Founded in 1985, the Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards is the foremost program recognizing the achievements of audio professionals. Presented annually by the TEC Foundation for Excellence in Audio, the TEC Awards recognizes the individuals, companies and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, live performances, films, television, video games, and other media.
Sinus - Systems Integration Awards:
This award is to honour planning creativity and the implementation of these plans in solving complex problems. The award winners are chosen by a jury made up of members of the Professional Lighting & Sound Association of Germany and the European Association of Event Centers experts, and representatives of the trade press and Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
Pro AV Spotlight Awards:
Most recently WSDG won Pro AV's 2010 Spotlight Award, which recognize the best professional audio/video installations designed for corporate, education, entertainment, government, and other markets. Read more about this award here.
